Estelle Shallon, founder of lsde
Sustainability and project management consulting
for impact-driven businesses, associations, and social and solidarity economy actors
I am Estelle Shallon, founder of lsde
Curious by nature — about people and societies — I turned early to the humanities. I hold two research master’s degrees: one in Social and Cultural Anthropology, and another in Arab, Muslim, and Hamito-Semitic Worlds, both from Aix-Marseille University.
In 2025, I decided to deepen my commitment to a more just society and support organisations in their environmental and social transitions. I earned a certification in Corporate Sustainability Management (Ecolearn), which enables me to offer a systemic approach to the challenges organisations face today: building organisational resilience and robustness, navigating regulations (CSRD, PACTE, etc.), meeting stakeholder expectations, and engaging teams…
A journey rooted in social justice,
During my studies, I focused extensively on subjects such as fighting inequalities, empowerment, heritage-building, and forms of collective claim-making.
After a civic service at La Cloche, I became Project Coordinator for European programmes (REC, Erasmus, Interreg) at Afeji for two years, where I :
- Deployed projects,
- Designed training modules,
- Monitored indicators and produced reports,
- Wrote practice analysis documents,
- Prepared Erasmus grant applications…
These experiences complemented my academic background, bringing me rigor, responsiveness, and creativity. These skills now prove valuable in designing and steering strategic, sustainable, and actionable pathways within organisations.
THE FOUR DRIVING FORCES OF MY PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL LIFE:
Inclusion, sharing, sustainable transformation, and culture

MY APPROACH
Ecosystems disruption, biodiversity collapse, and climate change, are already reshaping our lives and activities.
Three pillars of my approach:
A pragmatic approach
- I build on what already exists, your experiences and mine, to design strategies that deliver tangible impact.
- I take interest in your context, constraints, and realities to tailor adapted solutions.
My goal: effective and impactful action.
A systemic approach
- I examine projects and challenges within their broader context (social, ecological, economic, historical…)
- I look into the dynamics and interconnections between elements
- I identify dependencies and pinpoint the most relevant levers for change
An inclusive approach
As a professional in a handicap situation, I am committed to offering accessible, respectful, and inclusive support for everyone.
Because diversity is not an option, it’s a fact.
And this fact is what makes our societies richer and more creative.
